Our latest outreach to the #cully neighborhood church for their new youth room. We will be rotating games in and out to keep the kids interested. This is an amazing organization centered around social justice and inclusiveness. Their associate pastor (pictured) and his thoughts on what pinball could do for their youth. "The Cully neighborhood is the most diverse neighborhood in the State of Oregon. The diversity, strength, and solidarity of our community is a blessing to be part of. Unfortunately not all is going well. As I am sure you are aware, too many of our young people trail behind in school and gang activity and recruitment is on the rise. St. Charles is committed to doing something about that and you can help us. Two afternoons a week we plan to have a homework club for high school age youth and on Friday nights we will open up the space for young people to hang out, have access to open mic etc. and have fun in a safe environment." #pinball #pdx #pinballoutreachproject #kidfriendlypdx
